Analysis of lyrics for the music video

The first verse of the song suggests that the couple are going through a bad time in there relationship and the guy is leaving for a reason and she feels that he is going to forget about her for example "keep me in your memory like i was yor favourite song, keep me posted when you miss me, tell me your never moving on" suggests to us that she is going to miss him more than he is going to miss her and she is afraid that he is going to not tell her where she is and is going to move on without her.
However she reassures him that she will stick behind him and be there for him if he misses her by saying "i will keep you warm in winter when the cold winds come for good" also by her saying "you'll be underneath my hood" suggests that she is comforting him and letting him know that she is not going anywhere.

This short lyric suggests that he is going to persue his dreams and ambitions.

The chorus suggests to us that they used to share each others dreams and ambitions to go travel the world, as it say's "like you used to with me, take my hand you'll be safe, travel the world and dont forget the pace" but they have both gone there seperate ways.

This verse suggests to us that he trys to hide the fact he trys to hide behind a mask and doesnt allow other people to see how great he really is, and that he wont let anyone in to help him. However the girl suggests to him "let the world see what ya can be, i am here if you could only let me dream" which suggests that she is trying to help him and she is willing to help him reach his dreams.

This verse says to us that she has dreams and ambitions too in which she wants to persue such as being an actress and she wants to become famous. So this could mean that both of them have different dreams and if they want to be together they cant reach those dreams, so they have to sacrifice them being together to reach what they each want to achieve out of life.

Conclusion

Overall i think that this song it to with a relationship that has problems as manys reltionship do and they both love eachother and care about eachothers dreams and what they want out of life but sometimes they have to risk there relationship to try and achieve those goals.
