Another location in which we chosen to film was on the moors near Tavistock on a crossroads this was so that we could access a main road which wasnt going to be congested with ongoing traffic and was quiet enough to film near. We also decided to film there because we thought that it would be an ideal place to film the crash scene as it being so quiet there would be many cars driving on the road so there wasnt any risk to other drivers on the road when we filmed this scene.
The reason as to why we used a beach as one of our locations is that we wanted something to contrast the break-up of the two characters in my music video and we thought that by having the beach in teignmouth as our location for a beach meant that we could relate these scenes to there good memories with eachother as it is a very romantic scenery for a romance genre music video so it fits in well.
Conclusion
Overall i think that settings is a crucial decision to make for any music video as it represents the theme and the genre of any music video and it also needs to link in with the lyrics of the song in which you are making the video for so that when you watch the video you dont get confused by what you are watching. I have chosen to use quite romantic sceneries which relate to romance such as the beach which and the moors and then i have contrasted that with the flat which i used to represent the break-up between the couple in my music video. I think that the settings in which i have used for my video link well to the song within the lyrics and the links in well with the story she is trying to tell in the song.
