The reasons as to why i did a risk assessment sheet is so that i knew that within the locations i have chosen to film parts of my music video in are going to be safe for the actor and actress and people who are filming so that to ensure that there isnt going to be any accidents when either filming happens or acting is taken place.
Description of
the chosen location
What my chosen location is for my music video is a flat/house that we
have chosen for our couple to live in as people of that age group would be
most likely to be living in a flat and not a house. We also filmed some our
locations in the car which was for the car journey in our music video we
thought that this was essential in our music video as it added to the effect
of the boyfriend leaving and the despair and loss of him going. We also
filmed at a beach to add to some of the background effect and give the video
some more interest into what is happening so the audience wouldn’t get to
bored of watching the video.

What
to look for
Notes
Access
Bus stops and train stations
none
Parking facilities
Parking facilities were available outside
the flat as the male character in our music video owned the apartment.
Lifts/stairs
There was stairs going up into the
flat and we filmed the male character walking down them as he is leaving the
flat to go into his car. But overall there was easy access into going up and
down the stairs as we made sure that people were aware of us filming and it
didnt cause any disruption
Doorways (Width – consider equipment
as well as people)
The doorways and width of them wasn’t
a problem apart from the fact that the tripod sometimes didn’t get through
the doorway but we found a way around it overall there was good access
Space
Enough room (for cast/contributors,
crew and necessary equipment)
We mainly filmed in the flat and
places outside where there wasn’t congestion or a busy atmosphere so there
was plenty of room for us to film our video without their causing any
disruption to the public or people nearby.
Immovable objects (Are there any that
will get in the frame?)
None
Set dressing requirements (esp. for
dramatic production)
The clothing in which we chosen our
characters to wear was just casual everyday clothing as we thought it would
relate to our audience more. Overall access to clothing was very easy.
Lighting
Windows (Are there blinds/curtains to
minimise changes in daylight during the shoot?)
There was an issue with the timing of
day we filmed as we had to keep the storyline flowing in what time of day it
was so we decided to close the curtains in the flat scene as we knew that the
timings of the day would be different to the when shot the car journey.
Overall this was successful
Lighting appliances
(Fluorescent/tungsten? Can they be switched on and off?)
None
Plug points (If lighting kit is to be
used)
None
